Team One Earns National “Juntos Avanzamos” Designation for Financial Inclusion
Team One Credit Union has been officially designated a Juntos Avanzamos (“Together We Advance”) credit union, a national recognition for institutions committed to serving Hispanic and immigrant communities with safe, affordable and culturally relevant financial services.
The designation was approved by the National Juntos Avanzamos Selection Committee of Inclusiv, making Team One one of only three credit unions in Michigan to receive this distinction. The credit union will commemorate the milestone with a proclamation ceremony this fall.
“Juntos Avanzamos is a movement that opens doors to financial inclusion and trust for Hispanic and immigrant communities. It's a big milestone,” said Jean Carlos Rosario Mercado, Juntos Avanzamos Program Officer at Inclusiv.

Together, we will continue to build stronger, more inclusive communities.”
In alignment with the designation, Team One is expanding Spanish-language services through bilingual, culturally aware staff while deepening outreach to underserved and underbanked populations. To ensure access for all, Team One accepts alternative forms of identification and offers affordable products, trusted guidance and financial education to help members build long-term stability and wealth.
