Community Focus FCU Announces a New President/CEO
Community Focus Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors has announced that due to unforeseen circumstances, the merger between Southeast Michigan State Employees Federal Credit Union and Community Focus Federal Credit Union has been terminated. The Board of Directors has also announced that Andrew Gregoire has been named the permanent president/CEO. He has been acting as interim CEO since January 2023.
Gregoire has more than ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Over the years, he moved from being first a teller, then head teller, then accounting specialist, and finally as the vice president of operation at Community Focus FCU. During these years, he studied and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
“We are very proud to announce Andrew as our next CEO,” said Chairman of the Board Harry Roesch. “Through his career with Community Focus Federal Credit Union he gained extensive experience in almost every area of the Credit Union’s operations. He brings in a fresh approach that will guide Community Focus FCU towards continued growth and success. We, as Board of Directors, are very confident that we are placing the credit union’s leadership in good hands."
“I am thrilled to continue my service to Community Focus Federal Credit Union as the president and CEO,” said Gregoire. “Community Focus is in a strong financial position. I plan on continuing the legacy of the credit union’s involvement in the community as well as expanding access to digital products and services."
