Credit Union Spirit Award Recognizes Members First Employee

cusThe Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions has named Members First Credit Union’s Director of First Impressions, Mary Williamson, as the Credit Union Spirit Award recipient.

The Credit Union Spirit Award is a testament to an individual who exemplifies unwavering dedication to credit union principles and goes above and beyond to promote the philosophy of the credit union movement.

Williamson, who has been an integral part of the Members First team since 2015, was honored with this esteemed award during the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions’ Annual Meeting in Midland on April 18.

“I am truly humbled to receive the Credit Union Spirit Award,” shared Williamson. "Being part of this community, where service and impact are valued, means the world to me. Every day, I aim to bring a little extra sunshine into our members' lives, serving them with genuine smiles and making sure they feel appreciated and supported. At the end of the day, it's all about leaving a positive impact. I want everyone I meet to walk away with a brighter day, knowing that someone cares, no matter what they're going through."

Known for her exceptional warmth and dedication, Williamson brings joy to the lives of Members First members with her genuine greetings and personalized service. She consistently goes the extra mile to ensure that every member's experience is nothing short of exceptional.

In addition to her role at Members First, Williamson actively contributes to the Children’s Grief Center, spearheads an annual bake sale for The Pink Fund, and engages in various community initiatives. These efforts underscore her commitment to service and making a positive impact beyond the credit union walls.

"We are thrilled to see Mary's contributions and dedication recognized with the Credit Union Spirit Award," said Amy Schmidt, branch leader at Members First. "Her unwavering commitment to our members and the credit union movement as a whole truly embodies the spirit we strive to uphold every day."

Williamson's exceptional service and dedication serve as an inspiration to her colleagues and the entire community.
