Zeal Credit Union Promotes Ron Boehnlein to EVP/CFO
Zeal Credit Union has promoted Ron Boehnlein to the role of EVP in addition to his role as CFO. Boehnlein began his journey toward credit union financial management in 1979 as an auditor at a subsidiary of the Michigan Credit Union League.
His commitment and passion put him on a successful path that led him to his current role as CFO at Zeal.
“Ron has a wealth of knowledge and has been an incredible asset to our Executive team,” said CEO Julie Kreinbring. “He has been part of the credit union movement for over 45 years and is deserving of this expanded responsibility.”
This new area of focus will help advise and guide the CEO on key corporate planning issues and support the implementation of business and strategic plans.
“It’s an honor to be a part of our team and to contribute in new ways on behalf of our organization,” said Boehnlein. “Zeal’s Credit Union culture and values align with the ultimate purpose of credit unions and I’m proud to be a part of that.”
These additional duties take place immediately.
