Michigan CU's: Are You In for CU Kind Day?
CU Kind Day is coming up October 12! This annual day of kindness is an opportunity for Michigan credit unions to come together and showcase the credit union difference through volunteering, donations, community projects and other acts of kindness.
We’re encouraging credit unions across the state to officially commit to participating in CU Kind Day. Whether you’re planning a large community project, volunteering as a team or finding a simple way to give back, we want you to be a part of the collective impact happening across Michigan. Committing also helps us capture just how many Michigan credit unions are taking part and share the story of our industry’s impact.
And for our small asset size credit unions, MCUF grants are still available to help make participation a little easier. Eligible credit unions can apply for funding to support their CU Kind Day activities, helping turn an idea into action or expand the impact they’re able to make in their community.
If your credit union hasn’t committed yet – or if you’re eligible for grant funding and haven’t applied – there’s still time! Visit mcul.org/cu-kind-day to commit your credit union, apply for an MCUF grant and find resources to help plan your CU Kind Day activities.
