Genisys Recognized for Advancing Women in the Workforce
Celebrating Women’s History Month, Genisys Credit Union announced it has been named as a Women-Led Top Workplace for 2024 by Innovation Women and Top Workplaces. The accolade reflects the credit union's commitment to fostering a workplace culture where women excel, lead, and inspire.

Innovation Women, in partnership with Top Workplaces, looks at employee surveys conducted by Energage to rank organizations. 168 employers were recognized as Women-Led Top Workplaces for 2024. Innovation Women is an organization focused on the success of professional women.
This recognition is accompanied by additional distinctions for members of the credit union team who showcase leadership and dedication to their professions:
- Jackie Buchanan, President and CEO, received recognition as a Notable Nonprofit Board Leader by Crain’s Detroit Business for her influential leadership as Board Chair of Lighthouse, a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty throughout Southeast Michigan
- Andria George, Vice President of Human Resources, has been named HR Executive of the Year by ASE (American Society of Employers), celebrating her transformative contributions to workplace culture and leadership throughout her 50 year career
- Jordan Gettel, CSR (corporate social responsibility) Project & Communications Lead, was named a Most Valuable Young Professional by Corp! Magazine for her community led work
