Last Call: Raise a Glass for a Cause at Executive Summit
Executive Summit is almost here, and there’s still time to be a part of the inaugural CORKtown for a Cause on Wednesday, September 23, during the Welcome Reception at The Godfrey Hotel in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood.
Benefiting the Michigan Credit Union Foundation Crisis Support Fund, the evening will feature a premium wine pull with just 75 bottles available from Palazzo di Varignana in Italy. For $50, participants will receive a randomly selected bottle of wine, along with a bottle of Palazzo di Varignana extra virgin olive oil to take home. Tickets are available in advance through Executive Summit registration and onsite while supplies last.

There will be another exciting way to support the Crisis Support Fund during the event. Detroit artist Presley will create an original Detroit-inspired painting live during the Welcome Reception, with guests able to watch the piece come to life against the backdrop of the Detroit skyline. The finished, one-of-a-kind artwork will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the Crisis Support Fund.

The MCUF Crisis Support Fund provides a ready source of emergency assistance when natural disasters and other unexpected crises impact Michigan communities. Funds raised through CORKtown for a Cause help ensure MCUF has resources available to respond quickly when the unexpected happens.
